The Toro Dingo 427 narrow track and its predecessor the Toro Dingo 420 are the most owned tracked mini skid steer in the world. The tx 427 is available in both ride on or walk behind configurations. It runs a Kohler Command Pro Series 740 gas engine that provides ample power. Toro has been manufacturing this type gas engine narrow track since 2000 and is proud to be the market leader. This dingo has a dumping hinge pin height of 65.8 inches and a rated operating capacity of 535 pounds with no rider (adding a rider on the optional stand platform increase the amount the machine can pick up). This loader is built with 4 hydraulic pumps to give power to where is needed even in the most demanding conditions. The hydraulic system sends 16.9 gpm to each drive pump and 11.4 gpm to the auxiliary.
The Toro Dingo 427 narrow track is 33.7 inches wide and weighs 1882 pounds. Its narrow track design is easy on the yards with 5 psi of ground pressure. It holds 6 gallons of fuel and is 46.1 inches tall. One of the big reasons our customers by the gas version of the dingos is because all their lawn mowers and other equipment are gas powered and want to keep fuel type consistent in the fleet. A couple other benefits of gas dingos over diesel are gas engines are easier to maintain and gas fuel is easier to find. The key benefits of narrow tracks over wide tracks is the overall width of the machine and narrow track machines are priced lower than wide track machines.
